All Professional Counseling services come from a Christian Counseling perspective, offered for couples counseling, marital counseling and individual counseling, to strengthen faith, inspire hope, and enable healing, as we work together to begin Living Well!

Are you looking for an approach to professional counseling where your Christian faith is an integral part of the process? Christina practices Christian counseling with respect to the various denominations within the faith. As a Christian counselor Christina does not teach doctrine, but instead facilitates discussion and exploration of presenting issues while integrating faith. Christina’s educational background, continued education and professional license, enables her to take a clinical approach, to a variety of presenting issues.

Sydney Chamness, MA, LPCSydney is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She attended McMurry University in Abilene, Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2011. She then received her Masters in Counseling at The University of Texas at San Antonio in December of 2013. As a faith-based counselor, Sydney believes that healing starts with building a genuine connection with her clients and helping her clients realize their God given potential and purpose in life. Sydney sees clients individually and as a family. She has a heart for people who find themselves in a marriage where they recognize they need some counseling and healing individually, or their spouse is resistant to participating in counseling. In her free time, you can find Sydney hiking with her husband and miniature schnauzer, reading a book, or laughing with friends. 

 

STCH Ministries Family Counseling provides hope and direction for countless individuals, couples, children, and families when they need help sorting through the challenges of life. Counseling services are provided regardless of an individual or family’s ability to pay for them. Donations toward services are accepted and appreciated.

All STCH Ministries therapists are professionally trained and offer counseling that is clinically excellent and distinctively Christian. Our Family Counseling is also a preventative ministry that equips churches to be the first resource for those who are hurting and in need.

Tim Russo has a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, IN and has over 30 years of pastoral and counseling experience. He is a Certified Biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors  as well as the International Association of Biblical Counselors.

Tim specializes in marriage counseling and has experience with issues including pre-marriage, parenting, depression, anger, anxiety, addiction, stress, and relational conflict. Tim also counsels at Discover Grace Biblical Counseling Center in San Antonio.
