Amigo Walking Tours provides themed-based stories and historic narratives while en route from the landmark cathedral where the city began to the crown jewel of its skyline. As a tip-based tour, there’s no set price, and the goal is that every visitor and local enjoy an opportunity to learn the twists and turns of the San Antonio’s 300 year past.

Our personal opinion? Founder, Brent Salter, who was also our tour host, might be one of the nicest and most engaging people you’ll encounter. His knowledge-base of the history of San Antonio and thoughtfully-planned tour path was captivating and not strenuous in the least. Our three daughters and retired parents enjoyed the journey as well. This tour is definitely a favorite among city locals and tourists.
